Hierarchical hollow manganese dioxide nanosheets with intricate and well‐controlled 3D morphologies are synthesized by combining the Kirkendall effect with a sacrificial crystalline template. The as‐prepared MnO 2 nanomaterials (see figure) exhibit a good absorbing ability, useful in the removal of organic pollutants from waste water.
