Silicon nanocrystal inks are produced with an integrated nonthermal plasma approach for the synthesis of monodisperse silicon nanocrystals and their surface functionalization with organic ligands. Plasma‐functionalized silicon nanocrystals readily form stable colloidal solutions in nonpolar solvents, while non‐functionalized nanocrystals flocculate (see figure).
