New evidence of a pentacene “bulk phase” , which shows a different layer orientation from the “thin‐film phase”, was discovered. Thin films prepared on surface‐hydrophobicity‐controlled polymer/SiO 2 dielectrics, were studied by using 2D grazing‐incidence X‐ray diffraction.
