Multiphoton excitation in the electroluminescent polymer MEH‐PPV (poly(2‐methoxy‐5‐(2′‐ethylhexyloxy)‐1,4‐phenylenevinylene)) is reported for the first time. The three‐ and four‐photon absorption (3PA and 4PA, see figure) cross‐section spectra were determined from 1200 to 1900 nm. The observation of 3PA‐ and 4PA‐excited emission of MEH‐PPV opens up new opportunities for applications, such as up‐conversion fluorescence devices.
