The synthesis and characterization of a new series of charge‐neutral Ru II metal complexes are reported. The compound [Ru(ifpz) 2 (PPh 2 Me) 2 ] is a very attractive candidate for the fabrication of saturated red phosphorescent organic light‐emitting diode devices (see Figure) with high brightness and very low turn‐on voltage.
