New oxadiazole polymers for use in LEDs are reported that have high thermal stability and excellent film‐forming properties. The characteristics of the polymers themselves and of heterolayer LEDs based on poly(phenylenevinylene) that incorporate the polymers as efficient elecron transport and injection layers are discussed. The stability, operating time and quantum efficiency are shown to be improved compared to monolayer devices.
