A magnetic polymer composite containing γ‐Fe 2 O 3 nanoparticles and prepared from poly(pyrrole‐ N ‐propylsulfonate) by a simple reaction with aqueous NH 4 OH is described. The results of physical characterization by X‐ray powder diffraction and an investigation of the magnetic properties are presented. Such composites incorporating particles of metal oxides are of interest for electromagnetic interference shielding and microwave absorbing applications.
