In the search for stable organic ferromagnets , well‐characterized one‐ and two‐dimensional high‐spin organic oligomers and polymers are of great interest. Here, the synthesis of the title compounds (see Figure) is reported and the nature of the dication ground state is discussed based on theoretical and experimental studies.
