Mesenchymal Stromal Cells In article number 2102337 by J. Kent Leach and co‐workers, an engineered cell‐secreted extracellular matrix (ECM) is incorporated into mesenchymal stromal cell (MSC) spheroids to promote cell–cell and cell–matrix interactions and enhance MSC survival and differentiation. Activation of YAP through integrin binding to the incorporated ECM promotes MSC proliferation and osteogenic differentiation, highlighting the therapeutic potential of ECM‐loaded spheroids as building blocks for bone repair.
