In article number 1800996 , Qiaobing Xu and co‐workers report a new type of non‐cationic lipidoid nanoparticle for His‐tagged protein delivery. Active lipidoids are synthesized by conjugating nitrilotriacetic acid with hydrophobic tails and nanoparticles are formulated in the presence of helper lipids through self‐assembly. The newly developed lipidoid nanoparticles are capable of delivering genome‐editing proteins (Cre recombinase and CRISPR/Cas9 ribonucleoprotein) into mammalian cells.
