A neuron culture on a neurotemplated silica scaffold is reported by Insung S. Choi and co‐workers in article 1800289 . The scaffold, mimicking a real neuronal network, enhances neurite complexity of the cultured hippocampal neurons, as well as providing a physical guidepost for neurite development like pioneer neurons in the brain.
