A microengineered 3D biomimetic culture system developed by J. Fu and colleagues enables to study leukemic‐cell‐induced bone marrow angiogenesis in vitro. Their approach that is presented on page 1014 could be applied to evaluate the effect of anti‐angiogenic drug treatments on the disease progression of individual leukemia treatments.
