Biology often uses non‐covalent interactions to create responsive structures and confer complex functions (e.g., molecular recognition). On page 1972, X. Qu, C. Liu, and co‐workers report how, using biology as a source of materials and inspiration, a responsive lectin (protein)‐polysaccharide nanoparticle coating is self‐assembled with terminal galactomannan residues to confer liver‐cell targeting functions.
