On page 1457 S.‐W. Cho, S. Chung, and co‐workers show that neural stem cell (NSC)‐vascular niche consisting of a brain vasculature and 3D extracellular matrix (ECM) is reconstituted in a microfluidic system. The in vivo‐like microenvironment reconstituted in this system allows NSCs to adopt physiologically relevant phenotypes through the combined effects of 3D ECM and vasculature.
