Communicating Particles In article number 2104189, Karl Mandel and co‐workers report on a truly “communicating particle”. This single supraparticulate entity contains a unique optical ID and at the same time is capable of irreversibly changing further optical properties upon temperature encounter. Via a simple optical readout, the system is therefore able to “communicate” its identity and its “thermal history”.
