In article number 2010265, Gongxun Bai, Shiqing Xu, Jianhua Hao, and co‐workers report the development of smart luminescent materials for mechanical‐to‐optical energy conversion and sensing applications. Luminescent ions are introduced into the host lattice of quaternary piezophotonic semiconductors. The developed materials can simultaneously respond to different forces and light excitation, which can be used for optical sensing of stress in optoelectronic applications.
