In article number 2007215, Jian Liu, Jun Yan, and Chenxi Li develop a technique to remotely modulate glucose metabolism in vivo with a near‐infrared laser and upconversion nanoparticle‐assisted optogenetics. A new concept to treat type 2 diabetes without the bitter burden of repeated insulin injections combined with different medicines is demonstrated.
