Micropatterned silicone adhesives provide a new solution for gripping smooth objects. In article number 2005826, René Hensel and Jonathan Thiemecke investigate how such adhesives adhere to glass substrates over time. Herein, contact aging by the closure of defects and the formation of chemical bonds is demonstrated, both leading to enhanced adhesion.
