Multifunctional block copolymers are valuable candidates for the simultaneous solubilization of hydrophobic and ionic compounds. In article number 1808331 , Helmut Cölfen and co‐workers detail the synthesis and characterization of PEG‐peptide‐based macromolecules and the morphological analysis of the self‐assembled nanoparticles. Equipped with the ability to solubilize hardly soluble mineral calcium phosphates and hydrophobicmolecules, these polymers have the potential to dissolve atherosclerotic plaques.
