In article 1800924 , Qunfeng Cheng and co‐workers describe a graphene‐based nanocomposite with record‐high tensile strength inspired by the jaw of Glycera . Copper ions (shown in orange) are introduced into a chitosan CS matrix (green) between graphene nanosheets to form the metal‐ligand coordinate bonds, which yield synergistic interface interactions that improve stress transferring. The Glycera in the background illustrates the bioinspired strategy.
