As Zdeněk Sofer, Martin Pumera and co‐workers present in article number 1801438 , fluorination of black phosphorus with F 2 introduces a unique combination of these two elements. Unlike the other common allotropes, black phosphorus does not undergo the destructive burning to the respective pentafluoride. The prepared material represents a promising step into the area of covalently modified black phosphorus derivatives.
