A wet‐responsive, reconfigurable and biocompatible hydrogel adhesive that exhibits switchable and controllable adhesion on demand is reported by Hoon Eui Jeong and co‐workers in article number 1706498 . Based on the smart adhesion capabilities, diverse metallic and semiconducting nanomembranes can be transferred from donor substrates to either rigid or flexible surfaces, including biological tissues, in a simple and reproducible fashion.
