In article number 1705838 , Jia‐Qi Huang and co‐workers demonstrate a soft–rigid hybrid artificial protective layer for dendrite‐free lithium metal anodes. The hybrid artificial protective layer can tolerate large volume fluctuations and suppress the growth of lithium dendrites during repeated lithium plating/stripping. This stratergy provides a feasible approach to improve Li metal anodes towards the application of high‐energy‐density lithium metal batteries.
