A thermal infusion strategy for pre‐storing lithium metal into a stable nickel foam host, thereby forming a composite anode, is reported by Li‐Zhen Fan, Qiang Zhang, and co‐workers in article number 1700348 . Uniform lithium plating/stripping is achieved with a low dimension change and effective inhibition of dendrite formation.
