De Yoreo, and co‐workers explore the ability of 2D membrane‐like materials, which self‐assemble from amphiphilic peptoids, to self‐repair after damage under a range of solution and surface conditions. They then exploit this ability to form nm‐scale patterns of distinct functional groups within a single coherent membrane.
