On page 4860, V. Di Noto and co‐workers show the first iodoaluminate ionic liquid for the development of future Mg/I2 secondary batteries. Reversible magnesium deposition/stripping with low overvoltage and high (99.94%) coulombic efficiency is achieved and a detailed investigation of the Mg interaction scenario is reported.
