On page 2512, S. K. Hahn, S. H. Yun, and co‐workers report needle‐free topical vaccination using a vaccine carrier of hyaluronan (HA) and laser adjuvant. HA–vaccine conjugates are shown to diffuse through the intact skin barrier and activate dendritic cells, which then migrate to lymph nodes to elicit immune responses. The non‐ablative laser adjuvant primes the dendritic cells to achieve a high dose response comparable to that of conventional intramuscular injection.
