On page 721 Y. Chang, H.‐W. Sung, and co‐workers report an injectable polymer solution that exhibits a rapid nanostructural transformation into colloidal hydrogels within a narrow pH range. The transformation spreads over the acidic area of an abscess without overflowing onto a healthy tissue, providing tunable spatial stabilization. The colloidal hydrogels can accordingly convert NIR light into localized heat, leading to the thermal lysis of bacteria and repairing the infected wound without residual implanted materials left.
