On page 2072 , Shenmin Zhu, Di Zhang, and co‐workers report the fabrication of a 3D network magnetite from Morpho butterfly wing using a simple two‐step sol‐gel method. The reported biomimetic technique provides an effective approach to produce magnetophotonic crystals, which are expected to open up an avenue for the creation of magneto‐optical devices and theoretical research in this field.
