Nanowire photonic metamaterials are grown with controlled diameters, alignment and volume densities using MOVPE by Otto Muskens and co‐workers. In this report on p. 1039 it is shown that these nanowire metamaterials possess unique optical properties that hold promise for applications ranging from optical sensing to photovoltaics.
