Insung Choi and Woo Kyung Cho report on page 1089 on the fabrication of a nanostructured, “sticky” superhydrophobic surface inspired by the structure of the gecko's foot. A non‐wetting water droplet does not slide even when the surface is tilted vertically. The picture of the gecko is courtesy of Professor Kellar Autumn and Steve Scherf, and the cover was designed by Yang.
