The poly(p‐phenylene terephthalamide) (PPTA) fibers show high strength and stiffness but exhibit anisotropic mechanical strength. The authors found ultrathin ceramic coating onto PPTA fibers/fabrics significantly enhances the compressive modulus by 2.5 times and further improve the energy absorption, thermal conductivity, and chemical stability for advanced engineering applications. Further details can be found in the article 1800095 by Shenqiang Ren and co‐workers.
