This work presents a novel bonding agent for metal–plastic composites produced by twin polymerization. During twin polymerization, an interpenetrated network of organic and inorganic homopolymers is formed from one twin monomer. The mixtures of two twin monomers with various mixing ratios are studied. The suitability of a twin polymer as adhesion promoter is evaluated by axial loading tensile tests.
