The cover image is a computer‐rendered view of a topology‐optimized design for a bone implant scaffold. The architecture jointly maximizes scaffold stiffness and diffusive transport through the interconnected pores. The design is readily manufactured with solid freeform fabrication techniques. The linking of computational design with precision fabrication has tremendous potential for producing tissue scaffolds with tailored properties.
