The cover shows Interactions of proteins with calcium phosphate particles are highly interesting for a variety of applications and processes in the biomaterials research field, e.g. for the protein directed surface functionalisation of calcium phosphate. The adsorption of two oppositely charged model proteins ‐ bovine serum albumine and lysozyme ‐ was investigated by zeta potential, UV/VIS spectroscopy, and protein charge modelling. The study gives both quantitative data on protein adsorption and insights into the adsorption mechanisms. More details can be found in the article by K. Rezwan et al. on page B 53 .
