The morphological aspects of grain growth in Fe‐3% Si steels can be related to the neighbourhood behavior. The nearest‐neighbourhood grains directly affect growth of the considered grain. In this study, the morphological factor is introduced by definition of the neighbourhood average radius R m . A Monte Carlo simulation procedure is used to verify the influence of the nearest‐neighbourhood grain size on the grain growth.
