Evolution in orientation space of copper upon plastic deformation showing the development of coarse grains into texture as measured with synchrotron high energy X‐rays. The color coded intensity distribution on the 111 Debye‐Scherrer ring is plotted as a function of azimuthal angle and time respectively along the horizontal and vertical axis.
