Lattice block structure panels, consisting of two truss plates and a truss core, produced by investment casting of the high‐temperature titanium alloy Ti‐64 (Ti‐6Al‐4V) and Ti‐6242 (Ti‐6Al‐2Sn‐4Zr‐2Mo). These low‐density panels exhibit excellent compressive stiffness, strength, ductility and energy absorption at both ambient and elevated temperature and can be used for energy‐efficient aerospace transportation systems. More details can be found in the article by Qizhen Li, Edward, Y. Chen, Douglas, R. Bice, and David C. Dunand on page 939.
