Tin oxide nanostructures synthesized by CVD of [Sn(O t Bu) 4 ] were treated in Ar/O 2 plasma, which led to structural and chemical changes in the tin oxide deposits. This modulation of surface morphology and composition enhances the chemical sensing ability of tin oxide nanostructures due to increased concentration of charge carriers in plasma‐treated samples.
