The glass forming ability (GFA) of quaternary alloys in the compositional series Cu 55‐ x Hf 25 Ti 20 M x is reported and discussed. Bulk glass formation was observed for the Cu 54 Hf 25 Ti 20 Al 1 , Cu 54 Hf 25 Ti 20 Si 1 and Cu 53 Hf 25 Ti 20 Al 2 alloys, with critical diameters d c for a fully glassy structure of more than 4 mm. The composition‐dependence of the GFA was analysed by considering various parameters.
