The CNRS joint research program, “CPR Precipitation”, has been carefully prepared by the industrial initiators. Very significant results were obtained: they are summarized in the following and presented in this meeting. As for the future, the CPR has catalyzed the formation of a community of promising scientific interest: it would be of common benefit to stabilize this community by an appropriate further support.
