The development of materials that mimic the shape and mechanical properties of biological cells remains exceedingly challenging using traditional synthetic approaches. In article number 1800285 , Bryan Kaehr and co‐workers address this challenge by replicating biological cells, first, into a porous glass that is subsequently used to template a synthetic, soft hydrogel that mimics both the shape and elasto‐mechanical properties of living cells.
