Engineering of a cell home that steers stem cell homing and favors cell accommodation is an area of intense investigation. As discussed by Fa‐Ming Chen and co‐workers in article number 1700004, ensuring a significant number of reparative cells to be homed and making the “home” more cell‐friendly to guest cells in terms of its chemistry, structure, dynamics, and function play equally crucial roles in yielding a therapeutically regenerative solution.
