It's important for substance use disorder (SUD) prevention experts to continue their path to professionalization, according to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP). In a report issued this month, SAMHSA listed core competencies needed to work in the field of SUD prevention.
