The establishment of comprehensive recovery programs on college campuses has seen explosive growth over the past decade, with well over 200 schools across the country now believed to have such programs. A scant minority of these collegiate recovery initiatives, however, include a component that some see as crucial to offering full support to the recovering young adult: safe and substance‐free recovery housing.
