As leaders in recovery advocacy seek to strengthen their relationship with Washington under a new administration, they continue to prepare for another National Recovery Month that won't be coordinated by its longtime federal agency sponsor. As they look beyond this September, they hope newly introduced legislation in Congress will end up establishing a reliable funding stream for the materials and events that each year educate the public about the promise of recovery.
