Home delivery of alcohol by liquor stores is now a part of the permanent legacy of emergency pandemic rules in Arkansas, at least in the counties that are “wet.” Such deliveries were first authorized by an emergency rule change under the governor's declaration of the COVID‐19 public health emergency. Now the state's 441 liquor stores, eight microbrewery restaurants and 42 small breweries in the state can deliver alcohol to private residences by an employee of the store or restaurant. The governor signed the bill into law earlier this month.
