An unprecedented coalition of treatment and recovery organizations has written the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) requesting the development of “improved training platforms to replace waiver training prior to waiver elimination.” The Feb. 18 letter, a copy of which was obtained by ADAW , supports President Biden's goal of increasing access to the use of methadone, naltrexone and buprenorphine. It's buprenorphine, however, that is at issue in this letter.
