In a 115‐page complaint against CleanSlate Centers filed last month in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, the chain of buprenorphine treatment providers is charged with fraud, conspiracy and more. The complaint is from the United States, Indiana and Massachusetts, brought also by Wendy Welch, M.D., as the “relator.” Welch reviewed CleanSlate's charts and identified numerous dangerous combinations of drugs indicating relapse, without any change in care or even acknowledgment by CleanSlate medical professionals, according to the complaint.
