Few will react with surprise to a newly published survey that reported an increase in alcohol consumption following a state's imposition of a stay‐at‐home order resulting from COVID‐19. Yet there also were some unexpected and striking observations in the study, published late last month in the journal Frontiers in Psychiatry .
